I was born and educated in The Netherlands. After the second world war studied horticulture and landscape architecture and worked for a short time in that field in Holland before my wife and I decided in 1951 to literally pack it up in a trunk, two suit cases and with a hundred dollars in our pockets start a new life in the new world!
